Using the latest dental technologies to ensure better outcomes.

Digital X-Rays

3-D Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CT scanner):  ProDental was among the first and remains one the few dental practices in the Chicago area to have a Cone-Beam CT Scanner in our office.  Our scanner delivers the highest resolution available, and allows for unparalleled views of the oral tissues.

Digital x-rays are highly accurate and offer the benefit of using only a fraction of the radiation exposure compared to traditional x-rays.

Optical Impressions

Digital Oral Scanning (intraoral scanning) uses a handheld optical device to capture precise 3D images of a patient’s teeth and gums, replacing traditional impressions. The scanner collects and processes images in real time to create a detailed digital model.

This model serves as the foundation of our digital dental workflow, enabling accurate treatment planning, CAD/CAM design, and fabrication of restorations. Our in-house or partner lab receives the digital communication and performs the milling or 3D printing of the final prosthetic or crown.

Computer-Guided Surgery

Using the three-dimensional data produced by our CT and optical scanners, our software allows us to place virtual teeth and implants into a 3-D image of the jaw. A surgical guide is then fabricated that will accurately guide placement of the dental implants.

Laser (Dual-Wavelength Diode)

A dual-wavelength diode laser provides precise cutting, coagulation, and disinfection with minimal bleeding and faster healing. The dual wavelengths enhance tissue interaction and expand clinical applications, including periodontal therapy, oral surgery, and pain management.

PRP / PRF

(platelet-rich plasma / platelet-rich fibrin) When considering placement of a dental implant, often insufficient bone is present to accept an implant in order to yield an optimum result. Dr. Provenzale has been performing bone grafting procedures, from the simplest to the most complex, for more than twenty years.

And he remains at the forefront in the field regarding techniques and equipment involved in the grafting of bone.  We are one of the only dental practices to regularly use growth factors, such as platelet-rich plasma and fibrin.

In-House Digital Dental Lab

Our in-house dental lab leverages the latest digital workflow technologies to deliver faster, more precise, and predictable results. Using advanced CAD/CAM software, 3D scanning, and state-of-the-art milling and printing equipment, we streamline every step of the restorative process.

This fully integrated digital approach ensures superior accuracy, consistency, and efficiency—resulting in high-quality dental prosthetics that fit seamlessly and enhance patient satisfaction.
